We all love positive affirmations. They are like daily reminders, to enhance positivity, productivity, and positive self-image. For some people, making affirmations has become a part of their daily routine, a trick to start off the day in a good mood and a positive mindset. For some others, affirmations are not necessarily part of their daily routine, but they make them regularly, just to keep them on track and remind themselves of where they are headed. There are a couple of positive affirmations for money, positive self-image, confidence, learning from mistakes, handling grief, so much more.

Yesterday at church, the sermon was about the person of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit began speaking to me about how much of the power and authority we believers have but don't exercise. Just like Hosea 4.6 says, "My people perish for lack of knowledge", the reason why so many Christians are living in mediocrity and striving hard for excellence is that we do not recognize the presence of the Holy Spirit in us. We already have the Holy Spirit in us, a Spirit of Excellence, we don't have to strive to be excellent in what we do. When we seek His presence, we expect Him to come only when in church and people need deliverance or people are falling under the anointing. This way, people only ask for the power of the Holy Spirit, and not His person or His presence, forgetting that the power of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by His presence which lives and moves inside of us.
Because of this mentality, we have limited the Holy Spirit and His power inside of us, so much so that we expect His presence only when we are being laid hands on or in an atmosphere of intense worship and praise session, forgetting that the Holy Spirit doesn't necessarily need all that to manifest or help us in our daily struggles. Bible verses like 1 Corinthians 3.16, 2 Timothy 1.14, Galatians 4.6 and so many more remind us of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us, a gift that comes the very moment we confess Christ as our Lord and personal savior. The Holy Spirit doesn't start living and working in us when our lives become perfect, but the moment we decide to follow Christ and never do life without Him. It is the Holy Spirit in us that shapes and lives to perfection and teaches us to live and walk in righteousness. Walking in righteousness is not something we can do on our own, (Romans 8 (preferably the Message translation for better understanding) explains that), but only the help of the Holy Spirit.
It is easy to only lean on the other daily positive affirmations more than scriptural affirmations, especially those that remind us of who we are in Christ. Doing this will only make us lean into self-confidence instead of God-confidence, giving us a feeling of pride and disregard for other humans. Leaning on your God-given abilities helps us stay humble because we realize that we didn't give all that to ourselves, but we have been graciously blessed by God. This makes it easier to accept other people and give them the same measure of grace we received from God.
Here are some affirmations to remind us of all we are capable of being by reason of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit inside of us:
